Crohn’s Disease is an inflammatory disease that can be embarrassing and difficult to live with. But our non-invasive Regenerative Cellular Therapy can help with its symptoms.

Crohn’s disease is an inflammatory bowel disease that affects approximately 700,000 Americans. There’s no cure for it at the moment, but there are ways to relieve sufferers from its often embarrassing symptoms.

WHAT IS IT?

Crohn’s disease is an inflammation outbreak anywhere in the gastrointestinal tract – this could mean from the mouth to the anus. However, most cases spot the inflammation in the lower part of the small bowel and upper end of the colon. Inflammation can penetrate the intestinal layers and cause a range of symptoms.

CROHN’S DISEASE CAUSES

Despite extensive research, the cause of Crohn’s disease still remains unknown; however, the following factors may play a part in its development:

  • Immune system health
  • Genetics/heredity

CROHN’S DISEASE SYMPTOMS

Because Crohn’s can occur anywhere on the gastrointestinal tract, symptoms may vary from person to person:

  • Abdominal pain and cramping
  • Diarrhea
  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Weight loss
  • Lack of energy

CROHN’S DISEASE RISKS

Researchers believe that there is a mixture of genetic and environmental factors that contribute to Crohn’s disease, these include:

  • Location – it’s more common in developed countries and urban areas
  • Genetics/heredity – more than 100 genes have been identified that might increase the risk of Crohn’s disease
  • Smoking/tobacco use
